Are you a trained social worker and do you want to help make a difference for young adults with onset of psychosis? Are you interested in working interdisciplinary, and do you want to be part of a strong professional community? Then you are exactly what we are looking for for our OPUS team.
Welcome to OPUS
OPUS is a two-year intensive outpatient treatment service for young people aged 18-35 with onset of psychosis or psychosis-like symptoms. The core task is the investigation and treatment of patients with more severe psychiatric disorders within the psychotic area. The treatment consists of, among other things of individual psychoeducation as well as the involvement of family and the network that is relevant for the young person.
OPUS West covers all of Psychiatry West in Region Zealand. On a daily basis, the OPUS handlers sit at six different land registers in Nykøbing Sjælland, Kalundborg, Slagelse, Ringsted, Sorø and Holbæk. You will basically be present in Slagelse; but there will also be attendance at other registers for e.g. conferences.
You will be part of an interdisciplinary team, which consists of your own management, senior doctor, specialist psychologist, nurses, social worker, secretary and, eventually, peer employee.
In OPUS, the contact function (in OPUS called primary care provider) is the main element in the treatment relationship. Here, cognitive behavioral therapy principles are used as part of the collaboration with the patient, combined with medication and other relevant psychosocial measures. There is also an outgoing and searching function. In the course, the OPUS therapists facilitate group courses such as psychoeducation, social skills training and family education.
You will be associated with Region Zealand's Competence Center for debuting psychosis, etc. competence development and supervision.

In order to land well in the position, it is important that you are professionally strong in your field. You thrive on diverse tasks and can work independently with responsibility for patients in individual consultation processes, ongoing contact with relatives and contact with cross-sectoral collaboration partners. Experience with cognitive behavioral therapy and/or group therapy is an advantage.

Salary and terms of employment
The position is 37 hours per week and wanted occupied as soon as possible.
You are employed in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.

About Psychiatry
Psychiatry Region Zealand is a treatment psychiatry that consists of a number of inpatient units and outpatient units around the region. We take care of psychiatric evaluation and treatment as well as the emergency duty in Region Zealand.
We develop and convey a wide range of psychiatric services to the region's citizens, and we have an anonymous counseling service which is open to anyone who needs knowledge or advice about mental illness. We conduct extensive research with the involvement of both patients and relatives. We see it as an important task to train the employees of the future, so we also undertake a large training task.
