Production Manager/Supervisor for the evening shift

The job:
We are looking for a supervisor for the evening shift in pharma production, who must ensure stable operation and high quality in Fertin Pharma's production processes as well as contribute to visible management.

In close interaction with the other production management and the maintenance manager as well as technicians and operators, you contribute to ensuring high performance and quality levels in a working environment where at the same time the focus is on employee well-being and a high level of safety.

You will be the leader of an evening team, which consists of approx. 22 employees. Pharma production is managed in collaboration with production managers on day, night and weekend shifts with reference to the Production Manager of the area. At the same time, you will become part of an interdisciplinary management group of Fertin Pharma's production, which consists of managers from production environments in pharma and non-pharma.

Your primary work task will be management of your team, and you can therefore expect that the majority of the working time will be on the shop floor, where you exercise management in relation to safety, quality, delivery and well-being.
You ensure retention of already implemented LEAN initiatives including 5S, tagging, 3C and effective shift handovers.
You get an independent job where you have to make the right decisions in relation to quality, GMP and operations.

Your background:
We imagine that you have experience from pharmaceutical, food or process engineering companies, including experience with managing operators. You have worked evening shifts before and enjoy it. You have a technical education and experience from similar positions.

Communication is a large part of everyday life, and with an infectious mood, you yourself contribute with commitment and drive in a busy and outgoing function. With good collaboration skills and a flair for communicating at all levels, you contribute to good collaboration across the organization. As Fertin Pharma is a global organisation, it is an advantage to be able to speak and write English.

You have a good business understanding and practical experience with LEAN, with which you create good results. You are used to working in an organization with project activities and take pride in achieving the expected goals. At the same time, you are quality conscious and used to working to high quality targets. If you have experience with GMP, it will be a great advantage.
