Then you now have the opportunity to apply for the world's most meaningful job at the Competence Center for Suicide Prevention in Østerbro. Suicide prevention is an area that is prioritized in the 10-year plan for Psychiatry and Mental Health, and with the new National Action Plan for Suicide Prevention, we have been allocated funds to expand capacity with the above positions. About the Competence Center for Suicide Prevention The Competence Center for Suicide Prevention assesses and treats patients with suicidal thoughts and/or behaviour, without a known mental disorder requiring treatment. This is a sub-acute offer for people with many types of psychological challenges, acute strains, crises and stress. The center aims for a short or no waiting time for treatment and accepts patients without the central visit and package process. We offer conversation therapy in the form of short-term therapy of up to 8 conversations and internet-based psychotherapy of 6 weeks duration. The talk therapy is flexible and adapted to needs, primarily in the form of cognitive therapy, 2nd and 3rd wave. The internet-based treatment consists of an internet-based therapy programme, which the patient goes through with written help and support from his therapist and video conversations. The personnel group consists of 12 employees; psychologists, nurses, social workers, researchers and doctors, who together and in a calm, safe and committed environment recreate the meaning of life for and with the patients. The department is active in research with ongoing and future research projects, which we expect you to engage in, depending on your interests and experience, together with the other interdisciplinary staff group. The tasks will vary depending on professional background, interests and competences and will, among other things, include the following: Talk therapy in individually tailored courses of up to 8 conversations. Therapist in internet-based therapy sessions with written feedback and video consultations. Conversations with relatives and survivors Participation in treatment conferences and treatment planning. Teaching assignments. Supervision of a small amount of nursing staff, e.g. on the bed ward. Depending on interest and competences, responsibility for development and research tasks may be assigned. Desired qualifications: Aut. psychologist, preferably specialist. Psychiatric experience as well as knowledge of and experience with assessment and diagnostics. Preferably familiar with the target group. Experience with cognitive therapy. Interest in teaching and communicating to different target groups. Interest in Internet-based therapy. Great sense of responsibility and commitment.
