Job Description

TERNA S.A.,
member of
GEK TERNA Group,
is currently looking for a:
Tender Engineer
Responsibilities:
Manages tender documentation and supports the tender process of various projects
Carefully reads all tender documents, understands and records all required deliverables
Drafts and prepares the deliverables of the Tender's Technical Proposal
Manages the electronic Technical file of the project until the closure of the Tender phase
Coordinates with various stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and collaboration on each project
Acts as liaison with the involved internal departments (financial, tender, technical and legal) on a regular basis
Maintains accurate project documentation, including progress reports and other relevant records
Gathers and analyzes all necessary technical information needed for the RFQ’s from suppliers and subcontractors.
Archives the quotations received and prepares the respective comparison tables
Develops detailed cost estimates for projects following company procedures and forms
Updates cost databases and records (prices of materials, labor, etc.)
Ensures that all cost estimating and bidding activities comply with company procedures, policies, codes of conduct, regulations and industry best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
2+ years of related experience with tender activities for large-scale projects
Excellent knowledge of the English language (oral and written)
Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, Google Maps, Excel, Visio and
Knowledge and MS Project would be a plus
Competencies:
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in cost estimations and reporting
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
