Job Description

Do you want to help train future managers for the Danish labor market, and do you love to convey management expertise in the field of tension between theory, method and practice? Then you are exactly what we need as a part-time teacher in the continuing and further education department Management and Organization at UCL Business Academy and Professional University.
Your primary tasks will be teaching, guiding and examining students on the Diploma in Management. You can read about the education here:
Diploma in Management
Your profile
As a teacher on a diploma course, it is crucial that you are able to make the management theories and methods into practical reality for the students - that, with a focus on the learning objectives of your subject modules, you are able to link the content of the subjects to the students' everyday life and learning needs, so that the benefit of the teaching becomes practically relevant and applicable.
As the target group of the Diploma in Management is composed, it is important that you are able to adapt your teaching to the different types of students you meet, and that you are able to independently develop, organize and adapt your teaching to the students' different starting points and needs.
Therefore, we would like you to have:

experience with teaching within management, preferably in a formal educational context
good ballast of theoretical and practical knowledge of management
strong communication skills - both oral and written
own managerial experiences
good digital skills

Employment
Employment as a part-time teacher on the Diploma in Management requires qualifications at minimum master's/master's level as well as practical experience gained through employment in the management area.
The appointment is time-limited for up to 3 years and takes place in accordance with the Ministry of Finance's circular on hourly paid teaching or the Circular on collective agreement for external lecturers and part-time teachers at professional colleges, Denmark's Media and Journalism College and business academics, etc. under the Ministry of Education and Research.
The specific number of hours and assignments are agreed before each semester. The tasks depend each semester on a sufficient number of registrations. Your total time spent will typically be 250-500 hours per year. As the teaching takes place on a part-time programme, you must be prepared for your lessons to be planned over whole weekdays.
Your primary place of work will be UCL, Seebladsgade 1, 5000 Odense C. The place of work may vary, however, as we handle tasks throughout UCL's coverage area in Region Southern Denmark as well as on UCL's other land registers, including on the Boulevard in Vejle.
Do you want to know more?
If you have any questions about the position, you are welcome to contact education manager Jon Bloch Skipper by email [email protected].
We hold interviews in week 18.
