Forklift driver – driver of a delivery vehicle

What is a working day like in this position?

Manipulation of goods with forklifts and other storage vehicles;

Loading and unloading of goods during reception and dispatch;

Material manipulation during the production process;

Management of passenger and cargo vehicles of the company and transportation of goods;

Monitoring the technical correctness of vehicles and forklifts;

Servicing vehicles, carrying out small repairs in the domain of knowledge and keeping them in functional and clean condition;

Keeping the necessary records related to the vehicle (travel order, etc.);

Maintaining order, assisting in the inventory of storage space and reporting on the condition of goods;

Up-to-date record keeping and accompanying documentation on the receipt and dispatch of goods and materials.

What is needed to successfully perform this job?

Minimum III degree of vocational education;

Category B driver's license;

Possession of a category C and E driver's license is desirable;

Certificate of competence to operate a forklift;

Medical ability to operate a forklift and road vehicles; 

Desirable work experience in the same or similar jobs;

Ability to react quickly and organize time rationally;

Precision and attention in the manipulation of goods in order to preserve the quality of the product;

Reliability and responsibility.
