Job Description In this role, you will be developing and managing BIM standards and procedures across the Projects aimed to develop BIM models as part of the Marine and Infrastructure Department across the countries and regions of operation. What you will need to do: Develop and manage BIM standards and procedures across the Projects aimed to develop BIM models during Project's life typically spanning between LOD100 to LOD300. Establish project-specific BIM execution plans (BEP) coordinating with project technical office, procurement, and construction team to ensure the proper development of accurate and reliable MTOs. Perform quality checks on the model to detect clashes and review resolution suggested by the consultant or project team. Ensure effective coordination between the various disciplines involved in BIM modeling. Oversee the structure of the model incorporating the schedule (4D/5D), along with associated costs and revenues, into the model, creating a powerful tool for rolling forecast estimations. Constant supervision across various stages of a project lifecycle of the BIM development to ensure alignment with Employer requirements and specifications to deliver a compliant model within project milestones also by moving to the construction sites for short periods of time. Establish and maintain proper training of technical Engineers (as required) on BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, etc.) Maintain BIM, templates, and libraries updated. Monitor model progress and ensure that data is correctly exchanged between the BIM consultant and the project team. Collaborate with MID project managers and with other Departments representatives as required, to ensure the successful delivery of BIM-related tasks within project timelines. What you will need to have: At least 7 years of experience in BIM modelling and management, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or senior role overseeing BIM development for large-scale projects. Proven track record of developing and managing BIM standards, processes, and workflows, from design to construction. Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other BIM-related tools. Familiarity with 4D/5D BIM, project scheduling, and cost management integration. Hands-on experience creating and managing BEPs in collaboration with technical teams, procurement, and construction teams. Familiarity with LOD (Level of Development) ranging from LOD100 to LOD300, ensuring accurate and detailed models throughout the lifecycle. Experience performing clash detection and quality checks within BIM models, ensuring conflicts are identified and resolved promptly with consultants and the project team. Ability to travel when needed. Fluency in English (verbal and written).
