Senior Accountant

Responsibilities: Performs month and year closing activity; Prepares and submits periodic tax declarations to the tax authorities; Performs financial reporting; Ensures the correctness of financial transactions; Verifies the accuracy of accounting records and compliance with internal procedures; Contributes to the creation, control, implementation and optimization of accounting procedures to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting process. Prepares and checks accounting registers; recording and reporting of VAT and other taxes; Maintains the register of fixed assets; Maintains the chart of accounts and implements the legislative changes required by the amendment of the Romanian accounting regulations; Ensures support in the relationship with the fiscal authorities and other state institutions.
