VEHICLE ENGINEERING PURCHASER

The Vehicle Technical Department of the Bus and Trolleybus Operations Directorate of the Budapest Public Transport Co., Ltd. is recruiting for the position of VEHICLE TECHNICAL PURCHASER. Conditions for filling the position: Advanced professional qualification related to vehicle operation or (public) procurement (e.g. mechanical engineer, traffic engineer, engineer-manager). It is important that you know how vehicles work, but with us you will have to think in terms of systems! Prior knowledge of fleet operation tasks. Thorough knowledge of the technical regulations related to motor vehicles and vehicle operation. Practical experience in (public) procurement It is good if you have already gained experience in procurement tasks. If you have not worked in the field of public procurement, don't worry, you can gain skills with us. Active knowledge of German or English. Up-to-date knowledge of the commercial vehicle/bus market. Main tasks: Preparation and review of technical specifications for procurement procedures related to vehicle parts, services and new vehicles. Regular reporting to central purchasing areas. Participation in the technical preparation and processing of key logistics tasks and contracts: vehicle purchases, vehicle renovations, major part renovations, spare parts purchases. Preparation of professional presentations belonging to the scope of activities of the organizational unit. Analysis of technical data and information related to the maintenance and operation of vehicles. Full performance of administrative and record-keeping tasks related to its activities.
