Financial economist internship January 2026 - Viby and Herning

Right now we are looking for interns for January 2026 for our offices in Viby and Herning. If you join us, you can be sure to get an in-depth insight into the world of insurance, good colleagues and lots of development – ​​and who knows, maybe you would also like to write a thesis with us, get a student job and be employed permanently after graduation?  
About the position 
As an intern, you can look forward to being introduced to daily tasks on an equal footing with your colleagues in the department and the team of which you will be a part. In addition, you enter a structured course where, through a thorough introductory course, you get an insight into Topdanmark, the department and the tasks you have to solve. You will of course have a mentor attached throughout the process, and together we will continuously follow up and ensure that you thrive and develop throughout your internship.  
You will have plenty of opportunity to test your knowledge, and during your internship you will gain in-depth knowledge of our customers, systems, products and methods, for example through side employee training in the department you are assigned to and on courses at the head office in Ballerup. In other words, you can look forward to a varied everyday life where you will have the opportunity to: 

work and be trained in all areas of selling insurance and advising customers  
try out a busy everyday life where you have direct contact with both existing and future customers  
help to find the best solutions for the customer
build a strong network of colleagues and other interns 
assess whether there is potential for a joint future after graduation. 

About you
You are starting your education and about to start your internship. Your level of ambition is high, and you know what it means to create results with the customer in focus. And now you are ready to use your theory in practice – and it is of course a plus if you already have experience from a similar position. In addition, we expect you to:   

are motivated by finding the best solutions and know how to put yourself in the customer's place 
has good communication and empathy skills 
has great drive, an eye for sales and customer service, as well as an innate competitive gene 
always ready with your good mood and your strong team spirit.
