This role is based in Athens.Tendering Engineer (5809/TE/ESS/GR)Responsibilities:Create and compile E/M proposals for private construction and/or renovation projects (hotels, offices, industrial projects, retail etc).Describe and measure quantities for the preparation of the work cost estimate based on designs and technical specifications.Conduct market research for each subcontract/material required for the project, aligning with technical descriptions, designs, and quantities.Prepare comparative tables and categorize similar offers.Seek optimal solutions with equivalent specifications at the best cost.Collaborate with the team to select partners and negotiate pricing.Prepare and execute economic-technical proposals according to client demands and construction needs.Work closely with engineers from the Procurement Department and site engineersRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.At least 3 years of professional experience in preparing tenders for private or public projects, studies, services, or supplies.Experience in market research to identify new suppliers and materials.Proven ability to communicate with suppliers to gather technical and financial information.Experience in design software (e.g., AutoCAD).Good command of the English language.Strong computer literacy, including MS Office proficiency.Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high performance under tight schedules.Team-oriented mindset.Willingness for continuous improvement and development.Methodical approach with accuracy, responsibility, and consistency.Ability to respond quickly in a high-pressure work environment.
