Senior Architect

Bucharest Requirements The role of the senior architect is to coordinate a team and/or supervise several projects or a complex project mare. The senior architect will be subordinate to the head of the architecture department and will work in close collaboration with project coordinators and project managers Competent• Good understanding of the laws, standards and regulations applicable in Romania for the field of construction and their adjacent areas;• Ability to technically review projects of medium complexity;• Ability to guide clients/beneficiaries through the technical decision-making process and to propose alternative solutions in case there are changes to the project parameters;• The ability to contribute to the specific technical aspects for and solutions adapted to the needs of the project;• Specific experience with regard to projects with the state, with a focus on the educational, medical, or of administrative public buildings;• Experience in the last 7 years in the development of a complex project;• The ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with clients, the design team and specialists involved in the project• The ability to analyze and solve specific architectural problems, such as optimizing the design for energy efficiency or adapting buildings to accessibility requirements• Skills in managing risks and solving unforeseen situations during projects Qualification level / Education• Years of experience: 8 years – 15 years of general professional experience;• Graduated from the faculty of architecture (Preferably within UAUIM)• Has Signature Right issued by OAR (Order of Romanian Architects) - at least 5 years (It is not required to undertake projects through DS, it is a criterion for evaluation and validation of knowledge);• Proven experience of at least 3 years in a similar position as a senior architect (Coordinator, Team Leader, Chief Project Architect);• Experience Regarding tenders for public works, it is an advantage (Similar Experience - Project Manager Position, Full Project Manager - Recommendations) Knowledge - Knowledge about compliance in case of fire, issuing documentation in accordance with OMAI 180, elaboration and collaboration In the development of the Fire Safety Scenario;• Proven experience in the development of written parts (Technical Memoirs - Phases SF, DALI, PT, DE);• Proven experience in the development of specifications;• Proven experience in coordinating with project specialists public complexes/projects (military units, schools, kindergartens, crèches, hospitals and other health buildings, sports halls, offices, etc.);• Knows the legislation in the field (design - with a focus on the legislation for mandatory requirements);• Is up to date with the newly issued regulations: Normativ Scoli, Normative cree, MC001, etc. Essential requirements, desirable, represents an advantage RevitArchiCADKnowledge in terms of working in the BIMAutoCAD system (complementary) Microsoft suite (Office 365 - Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel, etc). /ante-project;• Develops the design theme for the assigned project;• Represents the company in meetings with the beneficiary, collaborators, subcontractors, as well as in front of other design-related entities, for the projects it coordinates;• Responsible for the overall quality of project deliverables and services allocated;• Coordinate the solutions related to the specialties and integrate them into the final project – architectural solutions, resistance, installations, vertical systematization, etc.;• Develop and coordinate the necessary studies related to the project – such as the fire safety scenario;• Check the conformity of the studies that are the basis of the project (energy audit, other studies) Communicates with their developers, in order to issue the final documentation;• Coordinates and verifies the assigned team;• Is responsible for the on-time transmission of the deliverables for the assigned projects;• Contributes, together with the technical director - responsible for the design department, to issuing a corresponding budget of allocated hours, in order to achieve the deadlines (participates in the organization of the department);• Respects the budget of hours allocated to the project for the architecture team – within the project for which he is responsible;• Is responsible for complying with the rules in force regarding the establishment of specialized, architectural technical solutions;• Partially evaluates the activity of the architects he coordinates and contribute to improving their performance;
