Safety engineer

We are looking for an experienced colleague for the following position to implement the greenfield investment of our international manufacturing partner operating in the industrial sector
Safety engineer (civil engineer or electromechanical engineer)

Debrecen.
Duties:
·        Responsible for the implementation of projects to meet the requirements of local laws and regulations regarding production safety, occupational health protection and environmental protection.
·        Supervises the compliance of construction procedures,
·        Responsible for the compilation of the management regulations for the safe and expected construction of the projects, and for checking their compliance,
·        Supervises the activities of the main contractor in the project. He performs regular inspections on the construction site and orders repairs on the site that does not meet safety standards. Records the repairs and checks their implementation.
·        Responsible for system review of the security area. During the construction phase of the project, strictly implement local laws and regulations regarding production safety, occupational health and environmental protection.
·        Reports on a weekly and monthly basis on compliance with construction procedures and on-site safe and proper construction,
·        Regular project safety meetings are held. Responsible for safety and compliance training of project members (design, construction and suppliers);
·        Defines and enforces the on-site accident prevention system,
·        Participates in the investigation of safety and environmental accidents on the construction site, on which he prepares an investigation report.
·        Maintains contact with the project manager, project participants, external and internal partners.
Qualifications:
·        Degree in civil engineering or related field.
·        Knows local laws and regulations regarding safety production, occupational health and environmental protection.
·        Experience in complying with safety and environmental regulations for the construction of large industrial plants and civil buildings, and familiar with the local safety and environmental certification system.
·        Excellent written and spoken English and Hungarian language skills are essential for the job.
·        Strong sense of responsibility, good communication and coordination skills; load capacity.
