Role Overview
Cook B is responsible for preparing and cooking dishes according to established recipes, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and assisting with inventory control.
Key duties and responsibilities
Preparing and cooking dishes according to established recipes and standards
Assisting Cook A in supervising and training junior kitchen staff (Cook C)
Ensuring food items are prepared to meet quality standards and are presented according to menu specifications
Maintaining kitchen hygiene and cleanliness in assigned workstations
Assisting in inventory control by monitoring stock levels and informing Cook A or kitchen management of low supplies
Following all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Working in a timely and efficient manner to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen
Assisting in the organization and storage of food ingredients according to safety and sanitation guidelines
Requirements
1 year experience in a similar position, preferably in hospitality, or the luxury industry
Α Degree/ Diploma in Culinary
Good organizational and time management skills
Very good knowledge of English language.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Strong team player & result-oriented
