We are currently looking for a Construction Electrical Engineer to join our Construction team in Athens offices. Your role will encompass: Looking for potential subcontractors (searching) at new markets / states where Metlen is awarded a new Project Collects all documentation/drawings and prepares the RFQ for electrical erection works which will submit to the potential subcontractors Receives the technical and commercial offers and make the relevant evaluation- answers to the comments and submits clarifications Prepares the comparative tables and proposes to the management team the shortlisted subcontractors Follows up the progress and the budget of subcontract works Records the invoices of the subcontractors and make the follow up till the payment Gives to the scheduler the relevant information in terms of time duration and order of execution of works in order to prepare the Project time schedule Participates in meetings during the preparation or/and execution stage of the project Records possible delays regarding the delivery of equipment or issuance of drawings and informs the management team accordingly What you bring to the role: University Degree in Electrical Engineering 2-3 years of experience in a relevant position (construction, or oil & gas sector) Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and codes. Excellent knowledge of the English language. Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Critical thinking & troubleshooting capability. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
