Civil Engineer
for one of the largest companies specialized in the field of civil and industrial constructions.
Position Summary:
The Civil Engineer implements the directives of the Site Manager and controls the works in accordance with the project, technical specifications and KTZ, applicable legislation in force, safety and health conditions at work.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Checking the compatibility of projects and details (Identification of inconsistencies between architectural - constructive projects - KUZ - KUB, underground engineering infrastructure), including the review of details and the provision of technical solutions for implementation, as well as the constructive and architectural detailing of various elements;
Drawing up and following the schedule of works according to the project and organization plan;
Compilation and control of all technical-legal documentation in the facility, such as minutes, measure books, situations, marking and control acts, etc.;
Quality control and safety issues at the site, ensure that all rules are being implemented according to the QA/QC and HSE management regulation, as well as the rules in force;
Control subcontractors and take measures to meet legal requirements for technical insurance on site
Monitoring the quality of raw materials coming to the site from different suppliers;
Approval of materials that are implemented in the construction site;
Ensuring the implementation of works in accordance with the company's quality management policy;
Taking delivery of implementation works, performing regular inspections;
Preparation of snag lists or incomplete or incomplete work as part of the validation process
Rigorous implementation of business contracts;
Strict application of technical rules and dress code;
Preparation of quality files for specific import materials that cannot be analyzed in our laboratories; · Organization and coordination with subordinate staff (technician, foreman, plumber, electrician, surveyor) for works on the site;
Leading the works, planning work fronts for different processes and contractors, coordinating the work program between contractors where their work overlaps in certain phases;
The identification of the needs for materials and their good administration, of machines and labor force;
Preparation of daily and weekly reports on issues and related progress;
Periodic control of costs, in accordance with the budget;
The identification, planning and calculation of volumes for budget items and items of new or unforeseen works in the budget.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Education:
Possess a university degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience:
Have at least 5 years of work experience in Civil Works (construction & refinishing).
Skills:
Ability to read, understand MEP projects and coordinate works with these disciplines.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret blueprints, business correspondence, contracts, procedures and technical manuals
Ability to manage various specific projects and contracts involved in construction projects;
Ability to present issues as efficiently as possible, excellent verbal and written communication, preparation of reports, etc.;
Principles and practices in the use of computer programs (CAD, EXCEL, MS-PROJECT, REVIT, etc.);
