Job Description
Do you have experience with payroll processing in the state, and do you thrive with a combination of concrete operational tasks and a more outgoing role, where you contribute to strengthening the quality and payroll skills through sparring and advice? Then this position at the University of Copenhagen might be for you! As a salary consultant in the Salaries section of the central HR department, you will be part of an informal working environment with a focus on high professionalism and well-being. Our office is located in beautiful, historic buildings close to Nørreport Station, and we offer flexible frameworks for working hours and location. About the position Payroll duties at the University of Copenhagen (KU) are divided between the central HR department and three HR campus administrations. You will be part of the Salary Section, which is anchored in the central HR department and which consists of 12 salary consultants and 2 student assistants. The section solves a wide range of tasks, which consist of both specific operational tasks and special tasks. In addition, support for and sparring with the HR employees in the HR campus administrations is a significant part of the task solution with us. This both through the day-to-day cooperation on specific cases, but also in the form of presentations/teaching and preparation of process descriptions/guidelines in close cooperation with our section for frameworks and processes. That is why we are looking for you who love a combination of concrete operational tasks and more outward-facing tasks with advice and sparring. Tasks Concrete operational tasks can include: assigning hourly wages and one-off payments via the State's Wage System settling holiday and special holiday days in the event of resignations checking and correcting salary and wage postings following up on the reconciliation of payroll accounting items processing deviant postings In addition, you will be responsible for some special tasks within various professional areas, such as vacation, reconciliations, mispostings and e-income. About you We are looking for a collaborative colleague who thrives in a mix of independent work and teamwork. You have an office education or equivalent qualifications, and we would like you to have experience with payroll processing in the state. We emphasize that you are service-minded and quality conscious and have a structured way of working with an eye for detail. In addition, you are comfortable in the role of "specialist", and you manage to explain and translate complex salary issues to colleagues without a salary background. Salary and employment conditions The employment takes place in accordance with the Joint Agreement between the Ministry of Taxation and Public Employees' Organizations - The State Sector (OAO-S) and the organizational agreement for office clerks, laboratory technicians and IT employees (HK/state) with placement in salary group 3.1 or 3.2 with the possibility of negotiating supplements according to qualifications.
