The Adult Authority is looking for a committed new colleague Are you passionate about the specialized social area for adults, and to promote the individual's opportunity to develop and master daily life? Per 1 May 2025, we are looking for a new committed colleague to join the authority work in Authority and Quality, the Specialized Social Area for adults. Become part of a small but professionally strong team You will become part of Authority and Quality, which consists of 5 advisers, 1 student assistant and 1 Head of Department, 1 system administrator and 1 Welfare Technology consultant. We see ourselves as a team, and focus on helping each other via joint task solving, sparring and knowledge sharing. At us, we are concerned with ensuring good holistic solutions, which is why we, among other things, has an eye for interdisciplinary work. You will therefore work closely with the municipality's contractors and the other authority departments in the municipality. We put the citizen at the center of the effort and work purposefully to support the citizen in actively participating and taking responsibility for his own life. We use VUM 2.0. method and a recovery-oriented approach in the meeting with the individual citizen. This means, among other things, that we are concerned with bringing the citizen's perspective into play, including hopes and dreams, when thinking about efforts and goals to master one's own life to the fullest extent possible. At the same time, we are inspired by the BIT model and work to optimize our follow-up practice with a view to ensuring consistency between needs, effort and rate. For us, it is central that decisions must be made on a sufficiently informed basis and always on the basis of both professional and financial considerations. We therefore focus on ensuring quality in case processing with a high degree of focus on citizen involvement and adequate case information. Your tasks: In Authority and Quality, we handle case processing cf. the Service Act in relation to the target group of adult citizens with physical and/or mental impairments and special social problems. You will deal with a broad target group within disability, psychiatry and the vulnerable area. As an authority advisor, you are involved in the case processing from application to grant and follow-up in everything that relates to the citizen's case according to the adult sections of the Service Act (§§ 82, 85, 96, 97, 100, 103, 104, 107, 108, 109 and 110). You will have to carry out an investigation of support needs, draw up action plans and follow up on granted efforts in collaboration with citizens, business partners and relatives. It is therefore important that you have good collaboration skills and can act as a meeting leader, facilitator and coordinating link in case proceedings. Desires for our new colleague: You must have relevant training as a social worker or social mediator You thrive in the authority role and work systematically You have knowledge and interest in the specialized social field, including the target groups within disability, psychiatry and the vulnerable area You have experience with VUM 2.0. as well as social work negotiation with an eye for thinking in the context of needs, effort and rate You have good communication skills and a desire to collaborate with citizens with complex issues You are good at being a leader and coordinating the overall effort You have a flair for IT and administrative work You are a distinct team player, and passionate about participating in joint problem solving and interdisciplinary collaboration You thrive in an organization where we focus on joint development and optimization of our work and skills for the benefit of the citizens.
