Fire Protection and Safety Engineer

To implement the greenfield investment of our international manufacturing partner operating in the industrial sector, we are looking for experienced professionals in Debrecen:
Fire Protection and Safety Engineer.
Duties:
• Ensures compliance with Hungarian fire safety regulations and other fire safety-related requirements
• Advises employees on all matters related to fire safety
• Coordinates the development of the fire protection concept with the planners
• Cooperates with external consultants and insurance companies
• Responsible for emergency procedures and crisis management
• Builds an emergency response team with the necessary qualifications, skills and equipment
• Initiates regular fire safety checks and measures
• Cooperates with related authorities, such as the fire department
Skills:
• University degree in fire protection engineering or a related field
• Experience in vehicle/battery factory building design, or work experience in a related field
• At least 3 years of work experience
• Experience in relation to Hungarian fire safety regulations, emergency procedures and crisis management implemented in the plant, as well as cooperation with the Hungarian authorities
• Proven project management skills for cross-departmental collaboration
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, fluent in English and Hungarian.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
