1. Responsibilities of the position: Setting up the EEG (electroencephalograph) equipment and carrying out specific tests together with the patient2. Monitoring patients during the investigation: Continuous monitoring of patients undergoing EEG investigation, ensuring that they are comfortable and safe throughout the procedure. Intervening if patients show signs of discomfort3. Documentation and reporting: Maintaining and updating patient files with accurate and detailed information about procedures performed and observations made. Noting in the investigation log any abnormalities or problems observed during EEG monitoring and reporting to the neurologist. 4. Interventions in case of seizures: Recognition of the preceding signs and symptoms of epileptic seizures. Application of intervention protocols for the management of epileptic seizures and ensuring the safety of the patient. Questioning the patient post-crisis. 5. Collaboration with the medical team: Close collaboration with neurologists and other members of the medical team to ensure optimal assessment and treatment of patients. Effective communication of observations and recommendations relevant to case management. 6. Equipment maintenance: Ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the EEG equipment. Reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the technical department.
