Job Description
We are looking for an Automation Engineer to join our team and participate in all aspects of designing and developing new and innovative applications. This is a great opportunity for an engineer, who is excited about solving complex problems in the automation field and who enjoys building highly scalable and efficient automation systems. Key responsibilities: Bidding – Reviews tender documents, performs site surveys, prepare technical documentation and budget sheet Project Execution – takes ownership of the engineering activities on all allocated tasks and ensures delivery of the highest quality standard, whilst maintaining the requisite schedule. Project coordination – provides team members all necessary support and information to ensure that they are fully informed of resource requirements, progress and areas of risk for the allocated tasks Scope control – fully understands the scope of work within delivery limits, ensures that it is delivered to the requisite quality, budget and schedule HSE/Quality control – ensures that all engineering activities are undertaken in accordance with the Company’s quality control processes and that the relevant standard is achieved – adheres to Company’s and customer HSEQ standards all the time Technical knowledge – acquires, maintains and actively shares knowledge and experience with the engineering team and the wider organization Requirements Electrical or Automation Engineering degree 5-7 years of relevant experience in industrial or marine sector with a proven track record managing system design, implementation, factory acceptance test and commissioning phases of projects Knowledge in PLC Programming Programming and Building Automation in TIA Portal Planning at EPLAN Experience in the construction of Automation/Control Panels will be considered a plus Knowledge in Prime Power Plants, Backup Power Plants and Peak Shaving Installations Control & Protection Systems will be considered a plus Qualifications: Advanced PC skills and proficiency in MS Office. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, at a professional level. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
