CAD Engineer

We are looking for designers to join the agile teams of lift mechanics to oversee a portfolio of mechanical lifts, landing doors and lift car components in Ústí nad Labem._x000D_
As a designer you will:_x000D_
Responsible for all design and implementation activities within the team's component portfolio_x000D_
Independently lead initiatives related to new proposals and change requests within the global organization_x000D_
Ability to collaborate with other teams, research and development_x000D_
Collaborate with front lines, supply chain and suppliers to ensure smooth elevator deliveries._x000D_
Part of project development activities with the aim of ensuring the quality, safety and cost competitiveness of elevator products._x000D_
Position Requirements:_x000D_
Understands the criteria for the mechanical design of load-bearing structures_x000D_
Experienced user of 3D (and 2D) modeling software_x000D_
Previous use of PLM/PDM systems_x000D_
Sheet metal/pressing experience_x000D_
Experience in Manufacturing / Factory Operations_x000D_
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment_x000D_
Disciplined working methods with the willingness and ability to work as a member of an international design team_x000D_

Fluent spoken and written English and Czech_x000D_
Advantage:_x000D_
Previous know-how of elevator components (mechanical)_x000D_
Experience with R&D project work_x000D_
Knowledge of lift standards (e.g. EN81-20)_x000D_
Experience working with MES_x000D_
Understanding of various quality processes (PPAP, CTQ, FRACAS…)_x000D_
Experience with fast and agile working methods_x000D_
A basic understanding of all the components that make up elevator systems_x000D_
Understanding of EN standards for lifts and their application in the context of lifts such as system sizing and layout._x000D_
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering - or similar
