Head of the Association of Leaders in the Danish Nursing Council

Do you have in-depth knowledge of management in both regional and municipal healthcare? Do you have experience in personnel management and do you have strong collaboration skills? Are you interested in developing and digitizing member services and can you navigate a complex political climate? Then maybe you are the one we are looking for at the Leaders' Association.   Our current head of the Executive Association's secretariat is retiring after many years in the Danish Nursing Council (DSR). We are therefore looking for a new and experienced manager.  The leadership association in DSR looks after the interests of the leading nurses throughout the country. The management association has approx. 4000 members primarily from the regional and municipal area. In addition, the Lederforeningen looks after the interests of senior nurses in the private and state healthcare system. Members are represented at all management levels and the tasks are therefore diverse. The leaders' association's main task is direct member service in the form of salary and terms negotiations, hiring, resignations and sparring with the members. In addition, the Association of Managers works purposefully to improve the senior nurses' pay, conditions and opportunities for influence in the healthcare system.   As head of the Leaders Association's secretariat, you are the link between the Leaders Association's political leadership and the day-to-day professional member service for the senior nurses. You must ensure good cooperation internally in the Leaders' Association and with the managers in the other departments and units in DSR. As head of the Leaders' Association, you have the day-to-day personnel management responsibility. You are also responsible for the development of the Leaders' Association, including responsibility for the operation and development of the member service as well as the service of the politically elected and active members of the association.  We expect you to have; Experience with personnel management and development of employees Experience and or interest in member service and digitization of this Have management-level experience in creating results and developing strategic efforts Ability to excite, motivate and create commitment and coherence in an organization that covers the whole country and is rarely gathered on ʺan ordinary day at the officeʺ Relevant higher education and management training Ability to create relationships, establish networks and develop contacts with key players Practice of being visible, listening and practicing management with high professional and personal integrity Overview and prioritize tasks in relation to finances and personnel resources. It will be an advantage if you have: Experience from an interest or policy-driven organization Experience working and achieving results in a political environment In-depth knowledge of health care and health care developments Operational experience from a member service organization.   We offer: Professionally competent and experienced employees A close collaboration with the Leaders Association's political leadership A close collaboration with the other management in the Danish Nursing Council Opportunity to influence the entire management area in the Danish Nursing Council and thus servicing senior nurses. Lederforeningen has its head office in the Kvästhuset on Sankt Annæ Plads in Copenhagen and an office in Fredericia. You must therefore be able to lead from a distance and expect a lot of travel activity. There are 10 employees in direct reference to the head of the Leaders' Association.
