EXPERIENCED IT MANAGER FOR TECHNOLOGY & OPERATIONS

Our digital department, SEGES Digital, with 170 employees is one of East Jutland's largest IT workplaces, and we work to develop and implement digital solutions that can optimize farmers' production, climate footprint and competitiveness.
As our new manager, you will be People & Delivery Lead for a strong, informal team, Technology & Operations, consisting of approx. 20 competent specialists who centrally handle onprem and Azure-based services, where Azure and cloud operating procedures are becoming increasingly dominant. In addition, you will have a very broad contact surface for software developers, IT architects, security architects, etc.
In IT, Technology & Operations, we are also an IT service provider for a number of customers in the industry, where SEGES Innovation takes overall operational responsibility for the customers' IT setup.
About the position
As head of Technology & Operations, you report to the Director for IT, Technology & Operations, and are responsible for ensuring efficient operation, maintenance and development of our IT infrastructure and technological solutions. You will lead a team of technically skilled employees and collaborate across the organization to ensure up-to-date technological development and structures around devops, governance, risk and compliance. You are part of the management team for IT, Technology & Operations.
Your primary tasks will include:

Management of the Technology & Operations department, including personnel responsibility and development of the employees' and the team's competencies.
Strategic planning together with the management team, execution of internal and external projects, including building and optimizing IT infrastructure, governance and security.
Overall responsibility for operation and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure with a focus on high availability, security and performance.
Execution on and further development of the roadmap for the department's initiatives to strengthen the position as a professional and proactive IT department.
Close cooperation with other agile value streams in SEGES Digital regarding the many software solutions that we offer our customers in the industry.
Orchestration of stakeholders and external business partners in the collaboration around securing the deliveries that SEGES Digital and our customers demand.

About you
We are looking for an experienced manager with relevant technical experience and a strong understanding of IT operations and development. You have experience in leading technical teams and manage to motivate employees with your personality and professional ballast. In addition, you have a good business understanding and are able to translate technology into practical solutions that create value for the organization.

A relevant education
Experience with leading teams and the ability to motivate and develop your employees
Experience with operation and optimization of complex IT systems, including cloud solutions, devops, server infrastructure and networks
A result-oriented and structured approach to both strategic and operational tasks
Strong communication and collaboration skills across the organization
Experience with agile working methods and project management is an advantage.
