Welcome to the District Psychiatry in Roskilde.

The District Psychiatry in Roskilde (DPR) offers outpatient assessment and treatment of citizens with psychoses, severe personality disorders and bipolar disorder.
The district psychiatry works based on the F-ACT (Flexible Assertive Community Treatment) model.
DPR has three F-ACT teams, where one F-ACT team is specialized patients in residences throughout Psychiatry East. The other F-ACT team is targeted at Roskilde citizens and typically with diagnoses within the psychosis spectrum.

We are now looking for a dept.-/senior doctor for our F-ACT team, we have opportunities for the affectively interested or if the interest is broader a team that covers Roskilde and Lejre and should there be a budding or experienced manager in the belly, then we can talk about it - we are known for our flexible and honest approach.

DPR consists of more than 40+ employees – including, senior doctors with many levels of experience (as well as alternating training doctors in progress), and a broad interdisciplinary staff group.

We currently have a particular focus on the involvement of relatives early in the treatment and have a particular focus on children with mental illness, e.g. via key persons for this area.
We focus on evidence, quality assurance and patient safety, and the treatment is based on dialogue and relationships in intensive treatment courses.

There is a growing group of specialists in Psychiatry East, and we do a lot both for professional development and in the collegial area.

There is an emergency call associated with the position, where the senior doctor will be part of an 11-shift shift available from home.

We want:

A committed and flexible specialist in psychiatry with courage for modern psychiatry
Good collaboration skills and preferably psychotherapeutic training or experience
Willingness to participate in the continued development of the section, i.a. via experience with or interest in quality development
That you, as a senior physician, meet the Danish Health Authority's seven qualification requirements corresponding to the seven medical roles
That you participate in the teaching of medical students and doctors in training as well as the training and supervision of other professional groups on an equal footing with the other specialist doctors.


A little about your future workplace:
Psychiatry East is a university hospital. We are active in research i.a. in the areas of: Personality disorders, Onset psychoses (OPUS) and Recovery. The research takes place in collaboration with the Psychiatric Research Unit.

Psychiatry East has a total of five wards and Psychiatric Acute Reception in Roskilde. There are district psychiatry in Køge and Roskilde, district psychiatry for the elderly, a psychiatric clinic that treats non-psychotic conditions, and a clinic for suicide prevention. There are regional functions for respectively anxiety, ADHD, pervasive developmental disorders, personality disorder, schizophrenia and other psychoses, as well as dual diagnoses.

We focus on evidence, quality assurance and patient safety, and the treatment is based on dialogue and relationships in intensive treatment courses.

There is an emergency call associated with the position of chief physician, which weekdays are shared with approx. 11 colleagues and part-time at 9-15 on weekends and public holidays at the geography in Roskilde.

About Psychiatry
Psychiatry Region Zealand is a treatment psychiatry that consists of a number of inpatient units and outpatient units around the region. We take care of psychiatric evaluation and treatment as well as the emergency duty in Region Zealand.
We develop and convey a wide range of psychiatric services to the region's citizens, and we have an anonymous counseling service which is open to anyone who needs knowledge or advice about mental illness. We conduct extensive research with the involvement of both patients and relatives. We see it as an important task to train the employees of the future, so we also undertake a large training task.
