Handicapped helper wanted for my BPA team - Permanent

About me: My name is Siff, I am 63 years old and live in Vallensbæk with my spouse. I have a spinal cord injury and am therefore bedridden around the clock. Even though I can't leave my bed, I'm still an active person who enjoys listening to books, music and movies as well as going for drives in my custom van. When we go out, you push my cot out to the car and drive me in it – therefore it is important that you are physically robust and an experienced driver. 
I value a good and safe atmosphere with my helper team and am looking for a helper who can be part of an everyday life characterized by structure, but also flexibility.

The job as a disability helper: 
I am looking for a helper for my team who can assist me in daily life. Your tasks will include: Personal care, including bed bathing, nappy changing, help with dressing, etc. • Practical tasks such as cleaning, cooking and laundry. • Accompanying and driving – you must be able to drive my van with automatic transmission. • Handling my care bed, which occasionally has to be pushed around the home or into the car on trips. The bed is easy to manoeuvre, but the job requires you to be physically robust.

About you: 
I am looking for a mature helper who: • Is reliable at meetings, flexible and aware of responsibility. • Is welcoming and respectful in his approach. • Has good situational awareness and knows how to balance between helping and giving space. • Has a regular driver's license. • Speaks Danish. • Has a high standard of hygiene. • I don't smoke and avoid perfume due to my allergies. Work uniform is issued for the same reason. • Not a cold snap, as due to my spinal cord injury I have the air conditioning running all summer.

Shifts and working hours: • Working hours are basically 10-15, but can vary and be planned one month at a time. • The position is for approx. 15-25 hours per week. • Primarily day shifts, but there may be variation. • Extra shifts may occur in case of illness or holiday.

Salary and employment conditions: 
Employment takes place through DUOS and salary and other conditions follow the applicable collective agreement for BPA schemes.
