Head Chef - Ios

The hotel complex Ios Palace Hotel & Spa, a member of Tr é sor Hospitality, is looking for prospective partners for the following position: Head Chef Basic mission: Continuous improvement of the quality of the items provided by the kitchen department in its responsibility departments with controlled operating costs, adoption of new culinary trends and safety of the food produced. Required qualifications - skills: Education: Culinary Arts School graduate. Previous experience: 3-5 years as Chef / Sous Chef in 5* Hotels. Menu creation: Ability to design and develop different menus per outlet. Sourcing of raw materials and consumables: Experience in sourcing, evaluating and sourcing raw materials and consumables, ensuring quality and best price. Cost Control : Skills in costing dishes and monitoring costs of raw materials and consumables. Staff Support and Assessment: Work with the HR department in finding and assessing staff, ensuring that candidates meet the department's requirements and specifications. Staff Management and Training: Experience in staff management and training, with the aim of improving team performance and collaboration in the kitchen. HACCP Knowledge : Good understanding of HACCP procedures. Monthly inventory: Control and recording of raw materials and consumables. Problem Management : Ability to anticipate and manage challenges. Hands-on approach: Active by participating in daily processes. Language: Good knowledge of English.
