Maintenance technician (Oudenaarde, Belgium)

We are looking for an experienced maintenance technician to join the technical team in a modern brick factory in Oudenaarde, Belgium. You will play an important role in the maintenance, repair and optimization of the production lines, which are high quality bricks
are responsible for its production. The brick factory combines traditional craftsmanship with advanced manufacturing processes, where a
both mechanical and automated systems are key. This means you will be working with conveyor belts, ovens, presses, dryers and other specialized machinery. The position works in a two-shift system and periodically includes on-call duties.

Duties:
Perform preventive and troubleshooting maintenance on equipment such as furnaces, presses and conveyors
Analyze and troubleshoot failures to minimize production downtime
Conducting inspections and proposing technical improvements
Working with mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Adhering to safety procedures and promoting a safe work environment
Collaborate with technicians and production staff to ensure efficiency
Working in a two-shift system and participating in on-call tasks
Expectations:
(Electro)mechanical qualification or relevant experience in a maintenance position
Proven experience in industrial maintenance techniques, preferably in a production environment
Mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge
Independent, problem-solving approach, but also a team player
Practical attitude, proactive and safety-conscious
Willingness to work in shifts and undertake on-call duties
Intermediate English language skills
