Quality and development nurse/risk manager – a central role in quality development in the Center for Welfare and Care (CVO)

About the job:
As a quality and development nurse, you will develop and lead processes that strengthen the professional quality of the efforts that we deliver every day to the citizens of Lejre Municipality.
Patient safety and the UTH work will be an important part of the task portfolio.
You will help to develop practice-oriented development courses in citizen-oriented efforts that can motivate and inspire employees and ensure high quality. Your primary task is teaching, implementation and maintenance of work processes and instructions, but other types of tasks in connection with the development of the local healthcare system also play a large role.
With the upcoming Elderly Reform and Health Reform, including a new supervision act, you will be an important player in developing and establishing a quality model in CVO that supports the new requirements.
You will work closely with the colleagues in the Quality and Development Team in the Center for Welfare and Care as well as with employees and managers in CVO, in other centers in Lejre Municipality as well as with partners from Region Zealand, other municipalities and the practice sector.

Your primary tasks will be:

Patient safety and handling of accidental incidents in close cooperation with managers and employees in the Center for Welfare and Care and in the Center for Job and Social Affairs (risk manager function).
Development and management of processes that ensure high quality in citizens' efforts.
Development of practice-based learning and development courses that support employees' competencies.
Teaching, implementation and maintenance of work processes and instructions.
Resource person in the hygiene area and actively participate in Lejre Municipality's hygiene organisation
Contribute to the implementation of the reforms' initiatives in close cooperation with the management and other partners.
Contribute to the development of a new quality model in CVO in connection with the upcoming supervisory act.
Contribute to political case presentations and relevant management information in collaboration with other colleagues in the team.
Keep up to date with new national guidelines and legislation in the area of ​​health and the elderly, and inform relevant business partners about this.

Qualifications:
We are looking for a nurse with strong skills in quality development, learning and implementation.
You have:

Education as a nurse with broad clinical experience.
Municipal experience, with an understanding of working conditions in a politically led organisation.
Preferably further education (diploma, master's or master's degree) in relevant areas such as improvement work, project management or health pedagogy.
Knowledge of methods in implementation processes in professional contexts.
Experience with patient safety work and possibly the risk manager role.
Teaching experience and knowledge of facilitation.
Good collaboration and communication skills as well as the ability to ensure companionship in development processes.
IT skills and flair for digital solutions in the healthcare system.

Salary and employment
The position is available from 1 May 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter. You are employed according to the applicable collective agreement and the principles of "new pay". The position is for 37 hours per week.
The first interview is scheduled for Friday 25 April 2025 and the second interview will take place on Monday 28 April 2025.
You will report directly to the Health and Elderly Manager for the Center for Welfare and Care.
