Objectives of the position:

Work in accordance with procedures for procurement, reception and storage, compliance with standards and directives defined at the level of hotel management and administration

Main duties and responsibilities:

Receipt and documentation of the receipt of goods: takes over the documentation of the received goods, files and submits them for further posting; physically receives the goods in the warehouse and keeps records and documents all received goods. When receiving the goods, checks the actual weight/quantity of the received goods and compares them with the one indicated on the supplier's invoice; checks the compliance of incoming goods with daily purchase orders; assess the quality, quantity and sanitary conditions of goods; counts all products / goods from the invoice before signing the receipt of the invoice

Maintains daily records of goods received and issued from the central warehouse in the appropriate bases/systems in the hotel

Management of purchase orders and storage of goods: receipt and distribution of goods and delivery to the appropriate sectors in the hotel, outside the hotel or storage space

Cleaning and maintenance of storage space, shelves and other storage to ensure a high level of cleanliness and compliance with hygiene standards

Participates in keeping the monthly list of warehouses and inventories

Manages the hotel's warehouse in accordance with the FIFO method of issue, receipt control and regular inventory control

Informs the manager about stock of goods and shortages

Maintains a professional business relationship with suppliers

Notifies his supervisor of repair and maintenance needs related to his scope of work  

Ensures proper application of hygiene and safety rules, legal regulations and all standards and procedures of the hotel

Works in a manner that ensures safety from injury to others and self (for example: lifts loads correctly and safely and uses lifting equipment)

Cooperates in cases of investigation of theft or other irregularities
