Manager of the Permits and Mortgage Unit
.
Position Summary:
The Manager of the Licensing and Mortgage Unit is responsible for directing and managing all activities related to this unit, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and institutional standards. This role includes coordinating unit staff, overseeing the review of claims, and providing professional guidance to improve operational efficiency.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans the building permit and mortgage application processes in coordination with the project architects and the Head of the Department;
Organizes and supervises the work of the unit's staff;
Designs and supervises online application charts in institutions;
Supervises and plans the processes of physical applications in institutions;
Drafts and/or checks technical-legal documentation for applications for Preliminary Declarations, Development Permits, Construction Permits, etc.;
Drafts and/or checks the technical-legal documentation for act-control with the Municipalities and applications in valid institutions for Certificate of Use and Mortgage;
Maintains continuous communication with the institutions for the smooth running of the processes;
Draws up/checks placement plans for permission;
Checks the projects that are submitted by the design staff for the permit application, if they are in accordance with the legislation in force and the requirements of the institution that grants the permit;
Checks the preventive measures that are submitted by costists for permit applications, if they are in accordance with the legislation in force and the requirements of the institution for permit;
Drafts accompanying documents, requests and authorizations for applications in institutions;
Checks reports of supervisors and collauders;
Make online applications for various permits;
Creates preliminary sketches, using appropriate design software (CAD), which suggest the general shape and appearance of the building, its construction and placement;
Draws up structures, drawings and plans in accordance with customer requirements and applicable laws/regulations;
Collaborates with site engineering staff, urban planners, contractors and other architects;
Visits the construction site to see if the plans are being followed properly, in accordance with the building permits;
Supports the Client's Architect in evaluating the changes required in the client's project in relation to the construction permit;
Coordinates and provides necessary information to the Finance Department regarding project progress and invoicing;
Prepares weekly reports regarding the progress of the processes in charge;
Performs other duties as needed or requested.
Education: To have a university degree in Architecture, Engineering.
Other qualifications:
At least 10 years of experience in the field of design and relations with institutions;
Very good knowledge of construction legislation;
Ability to suggest solutions and make accurate decisions;
Very good communication skills and clear expression of ideas and solutions;
Ability to coordinate work and relevant projects;
Ability to work in a team;
Very good knowledge of the English language; knowledge of other foreign languages is an advantage
Very good knowledge of urban planning legislation;
Advanced use of 2D and 3D package, AutoCAD, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
