Job Description
Where will you work:
At Homerr in Breda. This company offers a renewed, sustainable package delivery. Homerr's well-known clients include Vinted and Zalando. Here, we work every day to ensure that the packages reach the collection points on time. You can work 40 hours a week as part of a great team. Sounds good, right?
We are looking for enthusiastic colleagues who want to work in the long term.
What you will do:
As a warehouse worker at Homerr, you will deal with the sorting of packages. Fortunately, your best friend, the new sorting machine, will help. Packages arrive in different rolling containers. You have to place each package individually on the conveyor belt so that the sorting machine can sort them by area. The packages coming out of the sorting machine are already broken down by area. The final step is to place the packages back into the appropriate rolling container so they are fully ready to be forwarded to the correct address.
Packages consist mainly of clothes or shoes, so they are mainly lighter packages. However, when the containers are full, they can be very heavy. So while you are working, you are also exercising. Isn't that great? The weight of the packages varies, up to a maximum of 15 kg. Work must be done standing at a desk or walking around the warehouse.
Working days are from Monday to Saturday.
You usually work in these shifts in rotation: 06:00 - 15:00, 15:30 - 00:30
You have a one-hour break a day, but you get paid for 8 hours.
Who are you:
Logistical experience is an advantage, but it is more important to be enthusiastic and physically demanding. The work involves a lot of walking, helping our robots sort packages, and placing packages on the conveyor belt.
Your English language skills are at A2-B1 level.
You are available from Monday to Saturday.
If you stay long-term, you have the opportunity to receive training in different positions.
It is also possible to learn the Dutch language.
EU-Flex Services provides accommodation for you. The cost of accommodation will be €129.75 per week.
EU-Flex Services also manages health insurance. Its cost is €35.58 per week.
Drivers have to pay €20 per week for the use of the car. You can use the car in your spare time in the Netherlands! The driver must be available by phone on the first day of work so that the planner can check/clarify car usage plans.
