Accountant trainee September 2026 - Aarhus

Our accountant internship program is a structured course of 4-5 months, depending on your education, which combines theory and practice. You gain experience with accounting and auditing in an exciting everyday life at KPMG and at the same time meet the learning objectives required by your educational institution.

From day one, you, along with our other interns, will be part of a team consisting of experienced and young colleagues. As an intern, you will experience the accounting industry in a relatively short time, and you can therefore expect working days with client work and direct interaction with clients, including both work at our office in Aarhus and out at our clients around Denmark.

You get a buddy who is both focused on your development and who ensures that you are welcomed and not alone. It will be your buddy, who is your primary contact person and who you follow in everyday life. Your buddy will take care of your training and teach you about, among other things, customer contact, communication and presentation – and much more, which is important in the job as an accountant.

Everyone in the team works together - regardless of whether you have many years of experience or are new to the profession. We work together across specialties and titles and always listen to good ideas and suggestions - together we play each other even better. The internship course is aimed at you who are motivated by working with the combination of people, numbers and business. There are many ways to get started, but common to all is that you are ready to develop, ask questions and learn from your colleagues. 
In addition, you are the right match if you:

Studying a Bachelor of Finance and will do an internship in autumn 2026.
Is structured, is responsible and always meets well.
Are curious and are ready to challenge yourself.
Has a good and natural understanding of numbers.
Is good at communication and is service minded.
