Do you want to be part of a dynamic team that focuses on young people and their future in jobs and education. We help all young people who are not yet starting an education or a job, or young people who, due to personal or social reasons, need support from the municipality - also support to maintain an education or a job. Team Job & Education works to coordinate the young person's path across legislation and professional areas. 1 June 2025 or as soon as possible, a 37-hour case manager for our team. As a case manager, you will work with several different angles of the approach around education and employment-promoting activities in accordance with the Act on active employment efforts for young people in vulnerable positions who have special needs and who have not gained a foothold in education or the labor market. There will be tasks that have an executive focus. We work across disciplines on initiatives that can support the young person in achieving the goals that are set in the young person's education plan with joint help. You will be part of Team Job & Education, which is an interdisciplinary team consisting of 6 authority case handlers, 3 course workers on our youth program "Next Step", 1 part-time mentor, 1 job broker, 3 housing support people, 1 subject coordinator and 1 manager. Everyone in the team works closely together around the young people at both authority and executive level. Your tasks Young people aged 18-29 on educational assistance or resource course benefits. Initiation of education and employment-oriented activities, e.g. internships, our youth program Next Step and mentor support Recommendation to the rehabilitation team about resource courses, flexi-jobs or early retirement Visit interviews for new educational aid recipients Close follow-up on the young person's plan, so that progression and flow are ensured in the young person's course Contribute to the young person's educational plan together with other professions, including a youth guide function in accordance with the Act on municipal efforts for young people under the age of 25 Coordinate the interdisciplinary cooperation across legislation and skills, e.g. contact persons, education supervisors, company consultants, mentors, other actors and aftercare advisers Interdisciplinary collaboration with various professionals, including a particularly close collaboration with Job and Business Services Participate in various activities at Next Step, together with program staff Your profile We are looking for a colleague who has thorough knowledge of employment efforts.
