About us The Danish Artillery Regiment (DAR) was established on 1 January 2019 and garrisoned at Oksbøl Barracks. DAR solves a wide range of tasks in support of the rest of the defense and especially the army's other units. 1. Artillery Department provides fire support and advice up to and including brigade level. 1. The Artillery Department will in the coming years get new state-of-the-art artillery pieces and mortars, a new digital fire control system and vehicles. About the position 1. Artillery Department is missing gun commanders (KNKMD), mortar commanders (MTKMD), observers (OBS), operations / fire support commanders (OBM/ILBM) and supply commanders (FSBM-SG). As KNKMD you are in command of the protection system and are responsible for its tactical deployment and the system is always functional. As MTKMD, you are in command of the protection system and are responsible for its tactical deployment and the system is always operational. As an OBS, you must plan, coordinate and implement fire management of the assigned fire support assets. As an OBM/ILBM, you must have an overview of assigned firing capabilities and assist the operations officer (OPO) in planning, prioritizing and executing firings. In addition, you must help complete the training of the Joint Fires Center (JFC) other personnel. As the FSBM (M212), you must assist the FSBM (M221) in planning, organizing, conducting, and controlling the unit's professional supply service so that the unit can function effectively in both garrison and field conditions. About you You are a sergeant, a role model and respected for your professional skills, driving skills and crew management. You must have a good overview, show timely care, be positive, inspiring, progressive in thought and action and have a wide experience for training in the armed forces. You have good collaboration skills and show a high degree of independence, in order to achieve useful and well-founded results. You are a competent and respected commander who can take the lead in maintaining the morale of the regiment's units. Terms of employment The position is a sergeant's position on collective agreement terms. The position can be filled with a civil servant. Salary etc. is regulated by the LC/CO10 collective agreement and organizational agreement between the Ministry of Defense's Personnel Agency, CO10 and the Central Association for Stamp Personnel for regular personnel of the line and the reserve as well as students in the Ministry of Defense and related authorities.
