Job Description
If you want to work with a wide range of tasks within outdoor life, nature care, biodiversity and near-natural forestry, then a position with the Nature Agency in Sønderjylland might be something for you. The Norwegian Nature Agency has local units all over the country and in the eastern part of Southern Jutland we are based in Gråsten. The unit manages 10,500 ha of forest and natural areas from the border up to the north of Haderslev. The unit works with a very wide range of tasks, ranging from outdoor life and nature communication to near-natural forestry, management of untouched forest and property management to nature climate low-lying projects, nature restoration and nature care. The main focus of the position is on solving tasks in the field such as the establishment and maintenance of facilities for outdoor life, guidance and dialogue with citizens, nature care tasks e.g. fencing, logging, veteranization and a large number of other tasks that occur. The tasks are solved together with the unit's other seven forest and nature technicians. However, some tasks are solved as individual tasks. The main focus of the task solution will be around Aabenraa, but there will be ongoing tasks throughout the unit's geography. Your profile You have relevant education such as forest and nature technician. You would very much like to have experience with several of the tasks described. You can perform tasks independently. You have good collaboration skills both in relation to close colleagues and to the planning stage. You have a good handle on a wide range of operational tasks. You have a B driving license and preferably a driving license for a trailer. We offer a large organization with good development opportunities, an informal tone and high ceilings. Salary and employment conditions Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the agreement in force at any time between the Ministry of Taxation and a number of academic organizations for academics in the state (the Academic Agreement) or in accordance with the Joint Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Public Employees' Organizations - The state area and the organization agreement in force at any time for Forest and Nature Technicians etc. employed by the Danish Nature Agency and the local agreements entered into for this purpose. The area of employment is the Nature Agency Sønderjylland. The average weekly working time is 37 hours.
