Student job as study organizer at Campus Carlsberg

Are you studying to be a pedagogue, teacher or social worker? Do you want to develop your communication skills, expand your network and do fun activities for and with your fellow students? We are looking for an outgoing student for the job of study organizer, who will invite other young students into the community in the trade union movement through outreach and activities with a focus on professionalism and the students' conditions.
As a student organizer, you will be part of our joint project, where we will strengthen the organization of student teachers, student educators and student social workers in Copenhagen. We consist of the three student organizations and the respective trade unions, which have come together in a joint project under the main organization of the Trade Union Movement.
We offer our members professional development, exciting presentations and good discounts. And then the student unions all work to ensure that the students get the best possible study time.
Your tasks are:

Recruitment of members for the student unions through interdisciplinary events and dialogue with students.
Idea generation and development of new organizational possibilities and initiatives within the project at the study site.
Sharp and relevant communication of why it is precisely us that the students should be a member of.

You are:

Students with at least 1 year left on the teacher, pedagogue or social worker education.
Positive, inquisitive and good at talking to strangers.
Good at coming up with new ideas to meet potential members.
Interested in planning, marketing and holding activities.
Outreach and takes the initiative to meet with potential members - and gets them signed up.
Motivated by making a positive difference for students.

Working conditions
The appointment is covered by an agreement between the Danish Teachers' Association and the consultancy club in the secretariat. Hourly wage rates for student employees are DKK 165.34 per hour. The working time is approx. 10 hours per week, during which there will be 1-2 days of weekly fixed presence on campus. On the other hand, we are very flexible in that you can take fewer hours during the exam periods - and also take into account that you can organize your working hours in a meaningful way in relation to your studies.

Background knowledge for the project
The project is a 3-year collaboration between seven organisations, which together try to strengthen the connection of students to the trade union movement. The collaborating organizations are Lærerstuderendes Landskreds (LL), Pædagogstuderendes Landsamsamslung (PLS), the Association of Danish Social Counselor Students (SDS), BUPL, the Social Pedagogists, the Danish Social Counselor Association (DS) and the Danish Teacher Association (DLF).
