We are looking for a future colleague for our partner in the following position: Procurement manager Duties Responsible for the company's full-scale procurement activities, from strategy development through category management to operational execution; Leads the company's procurement team (operational procurement through a manager and directly strategic procurement). Defines KPIs and monitors their fulfillment; Develops and implements procurement strategies for direct, indirect materials and CAPEX purchases. Builds and operates a category management system for the main material groups; Develops the company's full procurement activities. Builds and operates good relations with the parent company's procurement organization; He is also responsible for creating the Procurement Manual, keeping it up-to-date and educating the applicants. Makes recommendations for the development of procurement systems (IT, records, etc.); Leads contract negotiations and manages contracts with the support of strategic buyers. Creates and implements a supplier selection and supplier development strategy; Supports the Operational Procurement Manager in escalation and advocacy tasks in case of supply problems; Represents his area during external and internal audits, is responsible for the implementation of corrective and development measures; Responsible for compliance with relevant laws and internal regulations, with particular attention to the comprehensive regulations defining the company's operation: Code of Ethics and Business, Code of Conduct, conflict of interest, HSE and data protection rules. During his work, he pays attention to the quality goals and their realization; Represents the procurement organization towards management and partner areas. He maintains active relations with the company's partner departments, especially the Design, Development and sales teams. Expectations Knowledge of procurement, logistics and inventory management; Project management skills; Thorough market and commodity circulation knowledge; Knowledge of strategic purchasing and category management; LEAN v. knowledge of other continuous development programs is an advantage; Good communication and presentation skills, logical systems thinking, precision and teamwork; Min. 3 years of purchasing management experience; Advanced written and spoken English; Microsoft Office office applications; Knowledge of enterprise management systems (SAP); Experience at a manufacturing company (ideally a chemical manufacturer) is an advantage.
