Specialist supporting passenger information

The tasks of our new colleague will be
- carries out its on-site, oral, station passenger information activities in accordance with the requirements of the railway passenger transport public service
- based on the order of the railway company providing the public passenger transport service, it carries out the activity related to the static station passenger information in the area designated for it. Checks the list of arriving and departing trains and the existence of track closure information, makes the necessary additions, and orders the lists and information leaflets necessary for the addition.
- in the event of track closures, reconstructions and events that differ from normal operating conditions, on the basis of the information received, on-site verbal information and information for the traveling public, including in a foreign language if necessary, about changes in passenger train traffic, delays, technical and traffic disruptions, as well as emergency situations
- performs the personal passenger care necessary in the event of extraordinary events, on a case-by-case basis, at the location designated for it, and participates in the handling of passenger complaints
- based on the information received, independently informs the traveling public, in order to obtain the information, it maintains contact with the designated employee of the railway companies and partner services
- provides assistance with orientation at the passenger information desk as needed
- his priority task during rail passenger transport, related to travel
operation of station static passenger information systems to a high standard, minor maintenance or ordering of maintenance in the event of damage
- ensures that the static passenger information sheets are cleaned due to contamination, in order to ensure that the posted information is legible and visible
- formulates proposals for the improvement of passenger information for the managers in the field
What is needed to fill the job role
- higher education - diploma
- knowledge of a foreign language at a conversational level (English, German an advantage)
- Category B driver's license
- knowledge of systems, machines and equipment belonging to his duties
- knowledge of applicable laws, standards, regulations and internal instructions affecting your field of expertise
- safety technical knowledge (work, fire, property, environment)
- knowledge of financial statistics
