Job Overview
As a
Freight Forwarder
, you will be responsible for
managing and optimizing road freight operations
, with a focus on
imports from Spain and Italy to Greece
. This role involves overseeing
freight forwarding processes
, maintaining
strong communication with clients and partners
, and ensuring the
efficient handling of shipments
.
Key Responsibilities
Manage
freight forwarding operations
for road freight imports.
Coordinate
offers, arrival notices, scheduling of deliveries, and receipts
.
Handle and monitor
import-related documents
, including invoicing.
Communicate with
clients, agents, and carriers
to ensure seamless shipment handling.
Assign
loading orders
to partners and track their progress.
Maintain
accurate records
and ensure compliance with
logistics regulations
.
Contribute to
team development
and share best practices within the organization.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
in a relevant field.
1-3 years of experience
in a Freight Forwarding or Logistics company.
Fluency in English
(written and verbal); knowledge of Spanish or Italian is a plus.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
.
