We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Butcher Demi Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. In this role, you will support the Butcher Chef de Partie in all aspects of meat preparation and butchery, contributing to the quality and creativity of our menu. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a strong desire to develop their skills in butchery. Responsibilities Assist the Butcher Chef de Partie in butchering and preparing various cuts of meat. Support the preparation of meat-based dishes, ensuring high quality and presentation Learn and apply proper butchering techniques under the guidance of the Butcher Chef de Partie. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the butcher station, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards. Monitor inventory levels of meat products and assist with stock management. Prepare marinades, brines, and seasonings as directed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service. Stay informed about meat quality standards and assist in sourcing high-quality products. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance butchery skills. Requirements 2 years previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a butchery or meat preparation role. Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus. Fluency in Greek. Strong knife skills and attention to detail. Commitment to maintaining food safety and hygiene standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Good communication and teamwork skills.
