Position Title: Civil Engineer in Technical, Engineering & Construction Department Position As a Civil Engineer you will be part of our Company’s Technical, Engineering & Construction Dpt which is responsible for the mature RES projects of the Company’s pipeline which enter the pre-construction and construction phase. Reporting to Engineering & Procurement Manager, you will be responsible to many missions related to civil engineering topics, preliminary designs, budgetary cost estimations, engineering reviews and site visits for projects under development and/or construction. You will be based in Athens, Greece. Position Status Full Time, Open-ended Employment Contract depending on candidate’s profile. Duties & Responsibilities Your daily activities will include, and you will be familiar with: Contribution in the projects’ preliminary design. Collaboration with the permitting and licensing department. Perform preliminary cost estimation of civil BOP scope for projects under development. Participation in technical due diligence for project acquisitions. Drafting and/or updating technical requirements for civil BOP scope for solar, wind and storage projects during the tender phase. Participate in technical negotiations with contractors during the tender phase. Review of contracts’ technical exhibits related to civil engineering scope. Participate in contractors’ evaluation during the tender phase. Contribute in projects under construction as a team member of the project team. Perform site visits at projects under development and/or construction. Perform engineering reviews for projects under construction. Manage external technical advisors regarding civil engineering scope. Develop collaboration bonds with the parent company Civil Engineering community. The missions and responsibilities may evolve and be modified by the Company in relation to the latter's requirements and activities. Requirements Qualified Civil Proven experience of more than 2 years in civil engineering ideally in the field of wind and solar energy sector. Experience in construction sites (optional) Excellent knowledge of English language required. Knowledge of technology in onshore wind and solar assets. Computer skills. Knowledge of MS office tools. Good technical knowledge with respect to the following: - Autocad - Civil 3D (optional). Valid driver’s license. Fulfilled military services (for male candidates). Competencies Teamwork spirit.
