Key Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Engineer at F-NOUS, your role will be diverse and impactful, including but not limited to:
Designing facades and sub-components for new buildings and refurbishment projects.
Creating technical drawings and specifications for fabrication and installation of facades.
Collaborating with other designers, architects, engineers and contractors to ensure seamless integration of facade design with the overall building design.
Evaluating and selecting materials that meet design specifications and budgetary requirements.
Work as part of a single or multi-disciplinary team attending and chair meetings with architects, contractors, etc. in an advisory capacity.
Developing jobs technically from initial client ideas and working with our multidiscipline team to ensure coordinated outputs.
Provide input on design competitions and bids.
Maintain good client relations throughout the job and work with a variety of stakeholders.
Interest and ability to travel occasionally.
Skills and Experience:
To succeed in this role, you should be able to demonstrate:
A higher education degree (Diploma or Master’s Degree) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in 2D and 3D design software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, NX, or other relevant tools.
Knowledge of FEA and/or CFD is an advantage.
Relevant professional experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in facade design.
A commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
Experience working on international and domestic projects.
The ability to manage project requirements, ensuring delivery within time and budget constraints.
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
A dynamic and adaptable personality with multitasking abilities, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivation, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative team spirit.
