Andersen, Odense Concert Hall and ODEON culture and conference house. We are looking for a strong manager for our restaurant team, where professionalism, management and order in the penalhouse are the focus. Our restaurant department is responsible for all serving in our 3 houses and therefore ranges widely from breakfast to conference parties for up to 1400 people.

Further development of Comwell H.C. Andersen Odense
As Restaurant Manager for Comwell H.C. Andersen, together with the rest of the management team, you will be one of the key figures in the further development of the hotel, because with us we do not stand still for very long. In addition to ensuring the high quality of our product, you must, in close cooperation with the other departments and in particular the kitchen, help challenge us to constantly raise the standard. We are in the process of reorganizing the restaurant team and have therefore divided the responsibilities and tasks between our operational manager and a new restaurant manager. As a restaurant manager, you will become the top manager in the restaurant, you will be responsible for the management, well-being and development of our employees, you must ensure professionalism and quality at our hotel and you must of course save and help with the operation of our other houses. Operational planning and execution of our large-scale operation is run by our operational manager who is part of your team. It is therefore not a must that you have experience in large-scale operations, but more importantly that you have strong and well-documented management experience, value well-being in your department, are interested in sustainable hotel management and have ambitions on behalf of our quality at the hotel.
You will be responsible for a department consisting of approx. 15 permanent employees, including our operational manager, restaurant sous managers and 2 students. In addition, we have approx. 50 temporary workers. You will report to the hotel director and be part of the management team.
Your overall responsibilities will be:
Daily management of the employees in the department
Education of students
Shift planning and optimization of this (together with operational manager)
Product ordering and resource planning
Professional sparring and interest in our restaurant and bar
Operations manager for the restaurant department at the hotel
"Order in the penal house" in the form of administrative tasks
Ensure coordination of daily information to the rest of the house
Be part of the management team at the hotel and contribute across the organization
Contribute to determining both short- and long-term goals for the hotel
Implementation and anchoring of established goals for the department
Focus on creating additional sales and making it part of the culture
Ensure a high degree of well-being among employees
You achieve success in the job when you succeed in maintaining the high quality and parallel development of our product, while at the same time you manage to motivate and develop your department. It is expected that you actively participate in the management group and contribute your knowledge both across the organization but also in the rest of the group through the ERFA network.
Experience from similar positions
You have professional training as a waiter and have management experience from relevant positions. You are a committed, results-oriented and well-liked leader who communicates easily and effortlessly at all levels.
For you, it is completely natural that you lift up in a group and play each other better, both in relation to your employees and the other colleagues in the management group. You are ambitious and understand the importance of developing your department to take responsibility and deliver results.
You like to take the lead and are not afraid of change and challenges. Building and showing trust in employees as well as across the organization comes quite naturally to you.
