in partnership with one of the international companies operating in Albania, in the construction materials production sector, is recruiting candidates for the position
Purchasing Specialist.
JOB POSITION DESCRIPTION
Complies with company regulations, principles of environmental protection, hygiene and employee health. Fully utilizes work time and production resources to perform assigned work, properly manages assigned resources. Adheres to corporate and factory guidelines and other company-issued procedures. It adheres to the basic principles of behavior and actions of the group in the company. Performs tasks according to superior's instructions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the purchase of goods and services by contract or order.
Registers and processes requests received electronically in the system.
Purchases goods, services and equipment based on established purchasing policies and procedures.
It pays attention to the optimization of prices, deliveries and conditions.
Negotiating with suppliers to obtain information about their products or services, prices, availability of required products or services, and delivery times.
Verifies requirements, identifies potential sources, solicits bids, processes orders, and maintains supplier records and pricing.
Manages a database of suppliers of services and goods (history of cooperation, references).
Increases the efficiency of administrative work: grouping of orders, invoices, use of electronic purchasing tools.
Consolidates supplier evaluation information.
Ensures internal customer satisfaction, collaborates across business units.
Works with a range of approved suppliers.
It determines the procurement method by direct purchase and ensures compliance with the framework contract.
Reviews bids received and negotiates contracts within his/her limits and authority.
Keeps records of items or services purchased, their prices and shipping costs.
Deal with quality control personnel, users, suppliers for defective or unacceptable goods (services).
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
Education:
To have completed higher studies;
Experience:
Have experience in the field of purchases at least 3 years;
Skills:
Have excellent knowledge of the English language;
Have good computer skills and knowledge of the use of the MS Office package;
Have excellent communication and negotiation skills;
Have good organizational skills.
