The Position Operational Project Management & Planning Engineer Job Summary Job Purpose The person is responsible to update and maintain the operational planning model to support finance, operations and S & OP functions. Additional responsibilities include support of the mine planning function as well as leading and supporting mining projects. Responsibilities Support forecasting and S&OP functions: Analyze and consolidate Sales forecast updates, pinpoint potential problems and/or inefficiencies to support Sales & Operations meetings Maintain and review the operational planning model: Update and maintain the operational planning model, revise the model assumptions according to current performance Collate & consolidate operational data: Gather and consolidate the operational production data on a monthly basis Lead, develop and support mining projects: Support the mining department with current mining projects. Look for improvement opportunities and organize projects to tackle them Support mine planning and design: Support the mine planning function in cooperation with the mining department.
