Ballerup Municipality's population is growing rapidly, and many new homes are being built. At the same time, several companies are moving to the municipality, and in addition we have a number of construction projects ourselves. We therefore have many inquiries in the road area in relation to traffic and parking, permits according to the Roads Act, ensuring road safety and much more. In addition, we work on developing parking, accessibility and traffic safety strategies and plans that can set the course for our future work. As a road authority, we collaborate with many other professional groups, and we have a close dialogue with e. our Planning, Construction, and Nature & Environment department as well as project managers in the construction and construction area and our operating area. A large part of our work is also done in collaboration with citizens in the form of citizen inquiries, meetings with citizens, landowner associations and local councils. We are therefore looking for a new employee. It will be fine if you have a background or education in traffic or the road area and have experience of dealing with authorities. The most important thing, however, is that you want to work with authority tasks in the road area. Your most important tasks Authority approval of road projects, including screening of road projects, e.g. from our construction department School road traffic - communication with the schools and help for better traffic flow at the schools Citizen and politician inquiries about traffic safety, parking etc. Input to local plans regarding traffic and parking, including updating parking analyzes and priority lists for traffic safety projects Signage plans and alignment of signage Development of traffic safety projects Updating QGIS, parking maps, etc. Acknowledging accidents and updating the CVF register. Your competences You have a relevant educational background, e.g. as a road engineer or traffic planner, and you have knowledge and experience with official processing according to the Road Act and in relation to road rules In addition, you have experience with parking work, traffic safety and accessibility We also expect you to have the desire and experience with citizen contact and to communicate our traffic planning to citizens and politicians Is a competent sparring partner and likes to be part of a community about the tasks Creates an overview of the tasks and processes Takes initiative and follows tasks to the door Is positive, and that you have good ability to communicate in writing and orally with internal and external partners and in relation to the political level. You will get that with us We work based in the Town Hall on Hold-An Vej in Ballerup. The town hall is close to the S-train station, cycle paths and free parking. We have a superb canteen, staff association and good welfare facilities. There is the possibility of homework and flexible organization of working hours in respect that the tasks must be solved together. We have paid for lunch breaks, care days for children, etc. We make a car or bicycle available when you carry out work on the roads. We emphasize skill development both in the daily collaboration with good colleagues and through further training. With you, we will have a total of 18 employees in the department. This means that we are a good and solid professional unit. We have a good collegial and professional environment, where helpfulness and professional sparring are highly valued. The road authority itself consists of an authority group of seven employees; three who deal with digging permits and the road council, a road lawyer and with you three in traffic and parking. You will therefore become part of a larger road authority group, where we greatly value sparring and cooperation. The others in the department are construction workers; primarily road engineers and landscape architects. We are part of the Center for City and Environment, where we work closely with the centre's other departments to ensure the right solutions.
