Personal skills
As a person, you are equal parts practitioner - equal parts theorist, and with your knowledge of literature and the importance of reading, you manage to make a difference for both children, adults and colleagues.
You have a strong knowledge of children's and young people's literature and the ability to convey the literature in an engaging way that captures the attention of children and young people.
You have an eye for how the library can be an attractive destination for children, institutions and families with children
