ZBC in Slagelse is looking for a Mentor in a maternity agency for reading special educational support (SPS) and retention for vocational training. Join us. Then maybe it's you we're looking for. We expect you to: Are a trained mentor, teacher, have a pedagogical or social work background or have another relevant education Have experience with motivational work, coping, barrier handling, psychological diagnoses and special educational support Possess skills to motivate students towards learning and education Have knowledge of the vocational education system and will work with guidance and retention within ZBC's various education areas Can implement support and reading of SPS in our existing teaching environment, so that the student is supported as much as possible in teaching. As a mentor/SPS supervisor, you will contribute to the school's development: You are committed to school development and as a support person will take the lead together with the school's other mentors, supervisors and resource persons. You prioritize preventive work, e.g. by participating in co-practice courses with, among others, the school's teachers You can tell in your words and actions that you are passionate about achieving the school's set goals You can analyze and work in a structured way and you can convey the support in teaching in a meaningful way You have the skills to take responsibility for ensuring the necessary development within your area You want to be part of a strong guidance team that supports school development initiatives at ZBC in collaboration with the management Your tasks will be: to take care of the planning and execution of special educational support (SPS) in teaching and create retention in collaboration with the guidance team, develop action plans and documentation in relation to the student's special educational support (SPS) In collaboration with the teachers and management of the programs, ensure the students' retention and guidance To promote professional discussions in the teams and initiate reflection processes To participate in professional networks consisting of the school's other supervisors Personal skills: You must want to support vocational school students and be able to see yourself providing support in the students' practical learning and theory teaching You must be passionate about finding the solution that suits the individual guidance seeker You must be able to collaborate with many different professionals within the individual education areas In addition, you must be a team player, want to develop and work closely with your colleagues, and you must be able to articulate issues in a constructive and respectful way If you have the desire and courage for this, we can offer: A job where, in collaboration with your colleagues, you continuously develop and qualify the support and guidance we practice as well as a job in a workplace that is characterized by the fact that the student is at the center and where we are there for them.
