The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of 'Cost Engineer' | 'Μηχανικός Κόστους', for its premises in Skouries Halkidiki. The position will report to the Manager – Open Pit Mining of the Open Pit Mining Department, based in Skouries. Main Responsibilities: Develops and maintains the Budget File System Consolidates information from budgets and projections Compares information from different Budgets and Projections Documents information related to Budgets and Projections (Considerations, Opportunities, Risks) Coordinates with the internal areas of Open Pit mining the preparation of the budget Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly expense summaries Verifies the correct allocation of expenses and takes corrective actions Requests information from suppliers and coordinates with Accounting the monthly Provisions of the assigned areas Tracks outstanding payments to suppliers and contractors (Service Orders, Direct Charges, and Valuations) Requests and tracks reversals with Accounting Identifies problems in the allocation of expenses, proposes solutions, defines procedures, trains personnel and follows up Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Civil (or equivalent) Experience in safety leadership Experience in a similar role highly desirable Experience in high-pressure environments Exposure to Change Management and Continuous Improvement methods/technologies Excellent commitment to safety, environment, and health Positive interaction with workshop personnel, prioritizing their safety and well-being Proficient in computer-based maintenance systems (SAP) when required Contribute to cost/budget control goals Strong time management skills, able to work unsupervised and readjust priorities Fluent in Greek and English Ability to work under pressure Driver's license (B Category) Our company offers a competitive remuneration package that includes an attractive combination of salary and benefits, as well as opportunities for development in a challenging work environment.
